There have been many such great inventions and discoveries in the history of the mankind. But a few of them have been the most essential inventions. These inventions and discoveries have made a huge impact on our lives. Let us have a look at some of the most incredible of all time:

 #Electricity: Benjamin Franklin is mostly credited for the discovery behind electricity. While there were many scientist that had contributed in their own ways for the  discovery of electricity, most of them experimented with static electricity. Benjamin Franklin was the first person who said that electricity had positive and negative elements and that it could flow. He conducted a kite experiment in the year 1752 to prove that lightning was actually an electrical discharge.

#Telephone: Alexander Graham Bell, a Scottish born scientist is best known as the inventor of the first practical telephone. It is widely known that the first words uttered over the telephone was of him speaking to his assistant Thomas Watson saying "Watson, come here! I want to see you!".

 #Light Bulb: The invention of light bulb is mostly known to be made by Thomas A. Edison. Though many other inventors contributed in their own ways towards the invention of light bulbs.

#The Wheel: The production and manufacturing of motor vehicles in modern world has only been possible because of the invention of wheel. Before the invention of wheel, people had to walk for days to travel from one place to another. The invention of wheel has made transportation a lot easier. The wheel is believed to be invented in the 3500 BC period in Mesopotamia.

#Aeroplane: Aeroplane is one of the most incredible inventions of all time. The Wright Brothers, Wilbur and Orville Wright invented the first airplane.On December 17, 1903, the Wright brothers made the first successful flight near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina which lasted for a duration of 12 seconds covering 120 feet height.

#Penicillin: Penicillin was discovered by a Scottish scientist named Alexander Fleming in the year 1928 at St. Mary's Hospital, London. The number of deaths due to infection reduced to a great extent as antibiotics were introduced after the discovery of Penicillin.

#The Computer: The first mechanical computer was invented by an English mathematician, philosopher and mechanical engineer, Charles Babbage. He is widely known as the "father of the computer".

#The Televison: The television was invented by a Scottish Engineer named John Logie Baird. On 26 January 1926, he  gave a  public demonstration of the first working television in London which brought a drastic change in the communication and entertainment industry.
